BurntOut Brisket Baked Beans

It's finally getting cooler outside...one of my favorite fall side dishes is baked beans. The recipe we created for these baked beans requires baking, so its a wonderful thing to make in the fall! I'm warning you in advance...your house will smell AMAZING! I am also pretty sure that these beans could almost be a complete dish of their own. Since we moved into our house in January...I don't believe our house has smelled this good (besides the occasional smell lingering from the smokers outside). Our house finally smelled like "Home."


  • 1 - 16oz Can Baked Beans (Your favorite kind...we like Bush's)
  • 2 - 16oz Cans Pinto Beans
  • 1 Red Pepper Diced
  • 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic 
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 Cups of Smoked Brisket cut into small pieces
  • 1 Cup Signature Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Distilled Vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon Yellow Mustard


Set oven to 325

Sautee the Garlic and Red Pepper in the Olive Oil until tender...turn to low. In a bowl...mix the Signature Sauce, Mustard, Vinegar and Brown Sugar. Add the can of Baked Beans to the Pepper mixture. Rinse and drain the Pinto Beans and add them as well. Add the Brisket and the Sauce Mixture. Blend together well and place in a Baking dish in the oven for 1hr and 30 min.
